Why MrBeast, IShowSpeed, Kai Cenat, And Other Big Names Are Skipping The 2026 Sidemen Charity Match?

The Sidemen have revealed why some of the biggest names in content creation will not be at this year’s charity match. The 2026 squads have already been announced, and fans noticed pretty quickly that MrBeast, IShowSpeed, Logan Paul, and Kai Cenat are all missing from the lineups.

The Sidemen Charity Match ha,s grown a lot since it started back in 2016, when the teams were mostly made up of UK-based football YouTubers. In recent years, the event has pulled in names like MrBeast and IShowSpeed, who have appeared in three games, and even xQc, who has made two appearances. Not having any of them this year is noticeable, and fans have been vocal about it online.

During episode 234 of SideChat, Miniminter confirmed that several players will not be taking part this year and went through them one by one. On IShowSpeed, he said, “a couple of players that aren’t playing in the charity match. People know that Speed isn’t playing. He has said no.” But Zerkaa jumped in and added, “he hasn’t fully said no. We asked him, he has a reason he can’t do it, but there’s a chance he could.”

Logan Paul is out because he is performing at WWE WrestleMania, which falls on the same weekend, so he physically cannot be there. Kai Cenat asked for a replacement to be added in his place, but the Sidemen have not agreed to that.

As for MrBeast, Miniminter kept it short and just said, “MrBeast has said no.” Other Sidemen members added that they have reached out to people, but have not been able to lock everyone in, and that is just how it goes sometimes with an event this size.

Even without those four the 2026 lineup is still stacked. Jynxzi, Ibai, JasonTheWeen, Stable Ronaldo and Fanum are all confirmed to be playing and the squads go deeper than just those names.

Sidemen FC have also teased a “mystery player” that has not been unveiled yet, which is similar to how unnamed players have shown up in the Baller League before getting revealed. There is a real chance that IShowSpeed could still turn up at the last minute and play, given that Zerkaa said he has not fully said no. But nothing is confirmed on that front yet.
