YouTuber Brandon Buckingham says he shot a man who tried to rob him. He put up a pair of Instagram stories on March 15 where he addressed the attacker on camera and pulled out his handgun. Buckingham is known for filming in dangerous locations like East Hastings in Vancouver and parts of the Middle East.
He also revealed he is recovering from organ failure that nearly killed him at the end of 2025. Creators, including MrBeast, helped raise over $300,000 through a GoFundMe for his medical bills. In those same stories, he said he is still not well enough to travel and film. His channel has been on hold since then.
Buckingham Tells The Attacker It Was Not Worth It
In the Instagram stories, Buckingham looks at the camera and goes, “Hey to the coward that sucker punched me and tried to rob me, I hope that sh*t was worth it” and then pulls out his handgun. He followed that up with “You didn’t get a dollar and you still got shot like four or five times. B*tch a**.” He also had a bandage under his nose that had what looked like blood on it. That was the whole clip. No mention of where it happened. Nothing about the other person’s condition or whether police got involved.
He has not said anything else about it since those stories went up. No YouTube video, no follow-up post, nothing. The only details anyone has are what he recorded on his phone that day. No location. No update on the person he shot. Just him holding the gun and saying the guy walked away with nothing.

Buckingham is not the first content creator to end up in a situation like this. Amouranth’s home was broken into last year by three people wearing masks. They forced their way in and went after her cryptocurrency. Her husband grabbed a firearm and fired at them. All three got arrested, and Amouranth said afterward that they could be facing up to 99 years.

As of now nobody knows if Buckingham is dealing with any legal fallout from the shooting or if the attacker has even been identified publicly. He has not brought it up again since March 15. The only thing out there is that Instagram clip. Someone swung on him, tried to rob him, and got shot 4 or 5 times. That is the full story as far as anyone knows right now.
