Blizzard Entertainment shocked the entire ‘Overwatch‘ player base during the Spotlight event that aired recently. Their new collab, ‘Overwatch x Hello Kitty‘, is breaking the internet. This was the most unexpected collab that stunned the entire playerbase.
This collab is coming to ‘Overwatch‘ as a limited-time event and will be available between February 10th and 23rd. ‘Overwatch‘ is calling over ‘Hello Kitty and Friends‘ to the game as new hero cosmetics.
This cutesy collab includes six different hero skins:
- Juno as Hello Kitty
- Kiriko as Cinnamoroll
- Widowmaker as Kuromi
- D.Va as My Melody
- Lucio as Keroppi
- Mercy as Pompompurin

‘Overwatch‘ has had many collabs in the past, with animes like ‘My Hero Academia‘, ‘One-Punch Man,’ ‘Transformers‘ and even K-Pop idols Le Sserafim. Director Dion Rogers said they have been working with Sanrio, the creator behind Hello Kitty and Friends, and this collab took a while to perfect.
10 New heroes teased during ‘Overwatch Spotlight‘

With the Spotlight event over, players were on the edge of their seats throughout. Blizzard Entertainment has announced that this year, the game will be getting 10 new heroes, all with different roles. Out of the 10, five heroes have been revealed and are set to join the roster on 10th Feb. Here’s a list of the five new heroes coming to ‘Overwatch‘ Season 1:
- Domina: Tank
- Emre: Damage
- Mizuki: Support
- Anran: Damage
- Jetpack Cat: Support
