However, the co-founder of 100Thieves, Nadeshot, was not really happy with the LA Thieves’ huge upset and is already making some drastic decisions for the roster.
‘Call of Duty‘ major tournaments are really fun and have a huge fan base. Hosted by OpTic Texas, ‘Call of Duty League 2026: Stage 1 Major‘ was the first S-tier major of the CDL Season 2026, which ended with a blast and had a prize pool of $350,000. However, the upset of LA Thieves not getting a hand on that prize money really got to Nadeshot.
Nadeshot Is Making Drastic Decisions for LA Thieves After Their Recent CDL Major Upset
During the recent ‘Call of Duty League 2026: Stage 1 Major‘, LA Thieves’ initial match was really good, with them sweeping the floor against RoyalRavens. However, their following matches against Paris Gentle Mates & then FaZe Vegas ended in a really humiliating upset. These losses landed them in the 5th-7th place bracket of the major.
This upset comes after Nadeshot replaced Ghosty with Ken last year, which did not give the team a lot of time to form a synergy for the 2026 tournament. Following this recent loss, Nadeshot made a statement about the changes to their roster. The Org owner quoted,
“You gotta do the right things, whether there’s disagreements between players and players, coaches and players… there’s so many things that happen behind the scenes that I can’t sit here and talk about.”

This statement indicates that fans may see another huge roster change really soon. Fans have shown their displeasure with such roster changes and have cited how they may not be healthy for an Org, but the final say lies in the hands of the Org Owner.
Paris Gentle Mates’ First Ever Major Win
Paris Gentle Mates swept the ‘Call of Duty League 2026: Stage 1 Major‘ and ended the Major tournament, which marked the inception of the ‘CDL 2026 Season.‘ They became the first non-American org to win the ‘CDL Major.’ They swept through teams upon teams, even defeated LA Thieves, only to lose against OpTic Texas in the Upper Bracket Finals.
However, they won against FaZe Vegas in the lower bracket finals and then defeated OpTic Texas in the redemption match crowning them the Major champions. Moreover, this was their first ever major win as a team and Org.
