The news of Kyedae and Tenz’s breakup has shocked the internet. However, what’s more shocking is that it hasn’t been more than 2 days since the news, but rumours of John Choi dating Kyedae have surfaced on the internet.
John Choi, the famous voice actor and streamer, had been part of the same circle as Kyedae, as he was dating 39Daph from 2023 to 2025. And thus rumours started to brew, but the voice actor has come forward himself and responded to these claims.
John Choi Responds To Dating Rumors With Kyedae
Voice actor John Choi found himself at the center of the controversy after an X user, @Veryx, falsely suggested that John Choi and Kyedae may be dating, as John’s relationship with 39Daph ended in 2025. The situation got out of hand, with Choi revealing he’s getting death threats after these allegations.
What fueled these rumors, as per @_Veryx_, were group pictures of Kyedae and John together. However, John has come forward and responded to these rumours by denying the dating claims and calling out the use of morphed images. The voice actor said,
“no, i am not dating Kyedae and i have never hungout with her outside of a group setting. stop cropping photos to make it look like we have. Tyson is a friend and has stated himself that these rumors are false so please stop sending me death threats on his behalf.”

John’s response came at the right time, when rumors of Kyedae cheating on Tenz were gaining traction on the internet.
Tenz Responds To John Choi & Kyedae Dating Rumours
Following the entire fiasco that’s been going on the internet, from Kyedae cheating rumors to her and John Choi dating, people were going overboard with their imagination and threats. Kyedae has been getting a lot of hate online.
Addressing the rumors on February 9, Ngo labeled the ongoing speculation as “genuinely disgusting,” specifically calling out the use of morphed imagery. “John is a friend of both mine and Kyedae,” Ngo stated, explaining that the “evidence” circulating online was simply a group outing where he was absent due to a last-minute cancellation.
“Okay this is genuinely disgusting that people are still spitting out b******t onto the timeline. There’s some stuff I am going to clear up since people are just throwing around blind hate to push a narrative that is non-existent. John is a friend of both mine and Kyedae, just because they hung out on a trip that I was supposed to come out on but had to cancel last minute WITH one of my best friends from high school there with them who also is conveniently cropped out of the photo to once again push this crazy cheating story is f*****g wild.”
