GTA 6 Marketing To Kick Off This Summer As Take-Two Boss Promises No More Delays

The wait is finally over as fans are finally getting some concrete news on ‘GTA 6‘, except for delays and leaks. Take-Two’s Boss, Strauss Zelnick, has finally mentioned things and possible future plans, which confirms that the November 19th release date for ‘GTA 6‘ is final, with no more delays!

GTA 6‘ has become the most anticipated game, in and out of the gaming community. From Memes to online content, ‘GTA 6‘ has become a wild sensation, and possibly the most-awaited game of this decade. And now fans may have a final & conclusive date for the game’s release. 

Take-Two’s Boss Strauss Zelnick confirm no further delays in GTA 6 launch date

‘GTA 6’ first trailer was launched on December 4, 2023. The trailer stated December 2025 as GTA 6’s release date. However, this release date was delayed for an entire year on November 19, 2026, after an official statement by ‘Take-Two & Rockstar Games‘. But during the Quarterly earnings call on February 3rd, Take-Two’s boss, Strauss Zelnick, confirmed that ‘GTA 6‘ will have no further delays!

During the Earnings Call, Strauss Zelnick mentioned that Rockstar & Take-Two will begin full-scale marketing this summer, and fans can expect a third trailer in May-June. Furthermore, he also mentioned that Rockstar & Take-Two are totally against AI generation, and they have fully handcrafted the game, which is the reason behind the years-long delay. Strauss Zelnick quoted, “We are in the business of eating red meat for breakfast. I think we’ll be having a lot more red meat in the coming months.”

The physical version & the digital version will release on the same day, on PlayStation and XBox consoles. Unfortunately, PC players will have to wait at least an year or two before they can play the game on their platform.

Future Of GTA Online After GTA 6’s release

With the ‘GTA 6‘ release date reportedly set in stone, players are now wondering what the future of ‘GTA Online‘ holds. The game is highly favoured by Rockstar Games and receives gameplay & content updates regularly. Fortunately, Strauss Zelnick mentioned that they would continue support for ‘GTA Online‘. The Take-Two boss mentioned,

“There’s a great community that loves it, that stays engaged. And again in this quarter, Rockstar has shown that when you deliver great additional content, despite how long it has been at market, people show up.”

Moreover, this is to be expected since GTA Online has been the money maker for Rockstar Games & Take-Two for the last decade. So dropping support for the game does not really seem feasible for the company right now.
