The cabin of the Crackshot character has returned to ‘Fortnite‘ several times in various editions, such as OG Season 7 Winterfest and Regular.
In addition to doing missions, gaining XP, or simply experiencing Winterfest, if you know exactly where the cabin will be located, you will save yourself considerable time. Here’s a comprehensive guide that includes every current cabin model in ‘Fortnite.’
Locating Crackshot’s Cabin In ‘Fortnite’ OG Season 7
The Christmas season is upon players in ‘Fortnite‘ OG Season 7, which means there’s a lot of snow outside! If you want to do some holiday shopping or go sledding, you’ve come to the right place. One of the greatest holiday-themed locations is Crackshot’s Cabin, a quest destination for all players in Chapter 1.
Crackshot’s Cabin can be found at the northern end of Frosty Flights on top of a snowy mountain (the northern part of the snowy biome). The cabin itself has a huge visual marker and is visible from the air very easily!

You will see a giant red and white candy cane that is situated in the centre of the mountain, as this is your indicator that you are in the right area. The candy cane isn’t directly located in the cabin, but it will help guide you there!
Once you enter Crackshot’s Cabin, you will immediately finish the quest and gain 8000 XP! The cabin’s interior is very beautiful, with a fireplace and Christmas decorations everywhere! You might find some of the presents in the cabin as chests, but they may not necessarily contain high-rarity loot. Since it is part of a quest, expect to see many players visiting this area early in the match!
Crackshot’s Cabin Location In ‘Fortnite’ Chapter 7
Crackshot’s Cabin has returned again this season during the Winterfest event in Chapter 7, but it’s not located in its original position. It will be found at a new location called the Golden Coast Map.
The Cabin is located on the Golden Coast Map at Sunset Falls peak; it is located North of the Lethal Labs and South of the Clawsy Lodge. You can easily spot the Cabin from above because it is situated on elevated land.
Once you arrive, you should encounter the Lt. Winter NPCs outside of the Cabin. The Cabin has multiple Loot Chests and a Presents item inside the Cabin, making it a great drop location if it’s uncontested. Snowmen that are located nearby could also be used for ambushes in both Zero Build and Battle Royale modes, and as such, it is a very strong location for both modes of play.
How to Find Crackshot’s Cabin During Winterfest
During Winterfest, players will find that Crackshot’s Cabin has an unfamiliar appearance to them.
Instead of showing up on the typical ‘Fortnite‘ map at the start of each match, Crackshot’s Cabin will ultimately show up on the Floating Loot Island. Players can only get to the Floating Loot Island after they have survived until the Fourth Storm Circle closes down. Once the Fourth Storm Circle closes, players will see an icon of a rift and a marker on their HUD directing them toward the exact location of the Floating Loot Island.

The entire Floating Loot Island only appears once a player is nearing the area. Players will be able to utilize the hanging zipline cables to get to the Floating Loot Island to access Crackshot’s Cabin. Besides needing to visit Crackshot’s Cabin to complete specific Winterfest and Snapshot quests, players will also need it to complete other Winterfest challenges in ‘Fortnite‘.
