‘Fortnite‘ Chapter 7 Season 1 is progressing in a very positive direction, thanks to players getting new content almost regularly. The new Update 39.40 has brought loads of new content to the game, from cosmetics, free rewards, to a brand new and unique gun, the Lock On Assault Rifle.

How To Get The Lock On Assault Rifle In Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1?
The Lock On Assault Rifle is a totally new weapon that has just been added to ‘Fortnite‘. Players are having a lot of fun using this weapon and its new mechanics. The best thing about this weapon is that it’s not some sort of limited item, and players can easily find it throughout the map of Golden Coast!
The are various places this weapon can spawn in:
- Open Loot: Can spawn on floors or out in the open
- Golden & Normal Loot Chests: Can spawn in containers available across the map
- Vending Machines: Available to buy from Vending Machine through gold bars
- Supply Drops: Can spawn inside supply drops during matches

Currently, the weapon is available from Rare (Blue) tier to Legendary (Gold Tier). It has no mythic variant yet, but if it had one, it would’ve been way too overpowered and would’ve received a lot of hate from the playerbase.
