Location Of Trial Room Shadow Puzzle In ‘Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined’?
This is part of the main Estard quest. At some point, you will receive a key to enter through the Ground Pass, allowing access to the Trial Room. Within the Trial Room, you will see two movable statues, a light source, and a shadow design that is created on the wall in front of you, blocking the way out.

The goal is not to replicate the door’s design. Instead, you need to create the shadow image shown on the wall of the Trial Room.
Trial Room Shadow Puzzle Step-by-Step Solution
For the left statue, push the statue to the left 2 tiles, and then push the statue up 3 tiles. When it is positioned correctly, check the wall, and you will see that it creates a droplet shape shadow. This means that the left statue has been positioned correctly.
Move on to the right statue, and do the same by moving it to the right 2 tiles and downward 3 tiles. You should have now positioned both statues correctly, but there will still be a shadow created on the wall that is close to being completed, and the door still will be locked.
Final Step To Open the Door
The final step is the one that many people overlook when playing these types of games. To complete this step, you need to get your main character onto the middle-lit area or on the small steps leading up to the wall. When your main character’s shadow has completed the pattern, the Trial Room door will open automatically.

Once you are inside, defeat the two Shadow enemies that are guarding the altar. After you have defeated them, pick up the Yellow Tablet Fragment to complete the first trial. Then go back to the Hermit and let them know what you have accomplished and request to move on to the next part of the Estard storyline.
