The Hidden Pyramid is one of the trickier puzzles in ‘Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined.’ Players encounter it during the Awakening the Earth Spirit questline, where the goal is to collect a series of stones that recreate the face of the Earth Spirit.
The puzzle spans multiple basement levels and tasks players with finding four different stone types. Some are straightforward. Others are not explained well at all, leaving many players wandering in the dark—literally.
Extinguish The Torches And Collect The First Stones
The first main room of the Hidden Pyramid is divided into 20 smaller rooms with six burning torches in the center. The objective here is to extinguish every single torch. Players can snuff them out in any order. The room will gradually go dark, but the minimap still works for navigation.
Once all six torches are out, the Eye Stones appear in the center room and can be picked up. Before leaving this floor, check the northeast corner for a chest containing a Mini Medal. Easy to miss in the darkness, but worth grabbing.

After collecting the Eye Stones, head down the ladder to Basement Level 2. This is where the puzzle gets less obvious.
Best Tricks To Solve Hidden Pyramid Puzzle
Basement Level 2 has a large stone face blocking the path to the Mouth Stone. The trick here is simple but easy to overthink. Hide behind the nearby barrier and stay completely still for a few seconds. The face will eventually lift, letting players walk through and grab the Mouth Stone.
Drop down the hole to Basement Level 3 next. The Heart Stone is sitting right on a pedestal in plain sight. Pick it up, but do not move on just yet. This is the step that trips up the most players. Open the inventory and examine the Heart Stone.
The game gives an option to split it into two pieces, which transforms it into the Ear Stones. Without doing this, the puzzle cannot be completed. Also, check the southern door on this floor for a chest holding a Skeleton Swordsman Monster Heart.
Grab the Nose Stone and Claim Your Reward
Jump down through the hole to Basement Level 4. Before heading for the final stone, grab the two treasure chests in this room for a Shield of Shame and a Divine Bustier. When ready, step on the tiles north of the clue tile to drop down to where the Nose Stone is kept.
At that point, you can easily pick it up and then step on the circular panel to make your way back to Level One. Once you have all the stones collected, simply head back to the Oasis and speak to the old man. A cut scene will be triggered immediately, with you getting the Earth Amulet as a reward.

With the +20 to your HP and another +40 to your defense, the accessory becomes necessary to help reduce damage from your fights. It can also be used on the offensive while reducing lightning damage by 20%. Not to mention, with the Earth achievement getting unlocked, it makes it all worth it.
