An unexpected backlash over the most recent ‘ARC Raiders‘ Headwind update has been caused by one particularly bizarrely named project. The Trophy Display project offered a heavy-loading grind as an option for players to showcase their hard-earned loot, but what came to be revealed upon its completion was a lack of any trophy to display.
Many players expected to receive one of the most meaningful end-game rewards, yet the Trophy project has instead been labeled by the community as misleading, unsatisfactory, and unacceptably time-consuming.
Why Players Feel Misled By The Trophy Display Project?

The trophy display project at its core has required players to spend a considerable amount of hours searching for parts to create “arc” hardware, farming for various materials, and performing many tasks over multiple levels of play.
This creates the impression to players that they were completing a quest that led to a physical display case or display cabinet to show their trophy collection in their raider’s room, something to visualize, something to be permanent and have them be satisfied that they have worked hard for something.
Instead, players received standard rewards, such as weapons, blueprints, and other cosmetic items, which all stopped at a definitive point. No displays, no addition or enhancement to the room to display the collectibles or use cases, no display cases for any of the trophies that have been put together to make a trophy.

One person on Reddit said it best, “a long boring quest.” Others made it clear that the trophy display project should have had either a more generic name or no name to clearly avoid misleading expectations about what the project was going to produce.
Community Reaction Trophy Display Project In ‘ARC Raiders’

Players have been very vocal about wanting this feature for a long time. Players experience inventory issues where they have to scrap some sentimental or fun items just to make space for high-level gear. A trophy display would have provided a solution to this issue while also adding some personalization and bragging rights.
Community members have suggested possible trophies or displays of their items in the game, such as a trophy display showing a collection of boss parts and rare Arc components, and perhaps even displaying collectibles of different cosmetics inside their rooms.
Although Embark Studios didn’t offer this explicit feature in the game’s design, players have interpreted the project’s name to indicate that it would be included in its final version. Now the “ARC Raiders’ community is hoping that the negative feedback it has provided will cause the developers to include a true trophy display in future updates so the players can have an experience to build on.
