The realm of ‘ARC Raiders‘ is rich with mysteries and artefacts of a lost time, but few stand out more than the seemingly ahead-of-their-time hulking relics now known as the Baron Husks that lie scattered across the wastelands. The Dormant Barons quest has players locate and salvage parts from these massive, now inert machines.
It’s more than just looting metal, it’s about surviving the calamity that ensues from even establishing proximity to such a large object. Here’s a complete guide on finding Baron Husks, safely breaching them, and completing the Dormant Barons quest without yourself torched or ambushed.
Where To Find Baron Husks In ‘ARC Raiders’?

Players may find Baron Husks in several maps, but the Dam Battlegrounds is the best place to begin. This is the first major area players obtain access to after the prologue, and it always spawns a few of these wrecks. They are impossible to miss, as they are large mechanical spider-like objects with their legs protruding out and a large core in the middle.

Here are the three main Baron Husk locations in Dam Battlegrounds:
| Location | Description |
|---|---|
| Old Battleground | Found on the western edge of the map. One of the easiest Husks to reach and salvage. |
| Water Treatment Control | Located in the southwestern section, near the control station. Another safe bet for quick looting. |
| The Breach | Found on the eastern side of the map, but it’s heavily guarded by a sniper-like sentinel. Approach with caution. |
The machines emit a low rumbling sound when you get near them, which is helpful for locating their position from a distance.
How To Breach And Loot Baron Husks In ‘ARC Raiders’?

After players find a Baron Husk, take a moment to look around. The breaching is loud enough to alert every other machine or raider in the vicinity, and players wouldn’t want them around while they’re looting.
When it’s safe to proceed, climb up one of the machine’s big legs and work your way to the head section at the top. This will allow you to interact for salvage. You’ll see a prompt that says “breaching.”
The breaching takes a couple of seconds and creates a bunch of noise and flashing lights, letting nearby enemies know your position. When it’s done, drop off the machine right away; the Baron Husk will explode in flames for several seconds. If you wait around, you will take fire damage.

Once the fire has died down, quickly climb back up and interact again with the loot prompt to loot salvaged parts. At that point you have finished the main mission for the Dormant Barons.
After successfully breaching and looting a Baron Husk, make your way back to Speranza to complete the quest. By turning it in you will receive:
- 3x Door Blockers
- 3x Li’l Smoke Grenades
The loot isn’t much, but all bonuses are very useful early game when exploring and in defense setups in ‘ARC Raiders.’
