‘Ghost of Yotei’ provides players with a soothing experience through its Sumi-e Painting activity, which lets Atsu paint the representation of Ezo while receiving unique cosmetic rewards. The paintings can be found in six primary regions, all of which contain a unique environment ranging from the lively Yotei Grasslands to the snow-capped peaks of Teshio Ridge.
Each Sumi-e location has a large rock with yellow-flowered vines, as well as a mat and painting supplies. Once a painting is complete, it gets recorded so that the player can show it off for display inside Atsu’s childhood home, as well as receive a cosmic item such as a helmet, mask, or headband. As the game tracks 18 Sumi-e paintings, only 15 of them can easily be found in the overworld, all of which are reflections of Ezo needed to attain the An Artist’s Eye trophy.
