Looksmaxxing streamer Clavicular was arrested in Florida after a viral video showed him emptying a gun clip at an alligator in the Everglades from a boat during a livestream. The clip spread across X and Reddit fast and drew immediate backlash with fans and viewers calling for legal consequences, given that shooting alligators with firearms is illegal in the state.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission publicly confirmed they are looking into the footage, and the arrest happened on stream in real time, which forced Clavicular to end what was supposed to be a marathon livestream early. Shooting an alligator, even a dead one, is a potential third-degree felony in Florida, and Clavicular is now dealing with both the arrest and an open FWC investigation at the same time.
Clavicular Empties A Full Clip At A Dead Alligator In The Everglades
The clip that started all of this showed Clavicular on a boat in the Everglades with a group of people firing multiple rounds at an alligator. It spread across X and Reddit almost immediately, and TMZ picked it up as well. Florida law is clear on this and states that the use of firearms for taking alligators is prohibited, and even shooting a dead alligator is illegal under state law, with potential penalties going as far as a third-degree felony, which can carry up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine under FL Statute 379.409.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission responded publicly on X and wrote, “The FWC is aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator. FWC officers are looking into the incident and will provide additional information when available.”
That investigation is still open, and even though the arrest was not for this Clavicular could still face charges once the FWC finishes reviewing the footage. A lot of posts on X and Reddit were claiming he had already been arrested for the alligator shooting, but none of that was confirmed, and the actual arrest came for a different reason.

He told his chat, “as of right now it is not because of the gator,” and said to stop speculating about the alligator footage being the cause. The arrest was reportedly tied to an outstanding warrant, though the exact nature of it has not been fully confirmed.
There have been claims online that it may be connected to Clavicular’s girlfriend, Violet getting into a physical altercation with Jenny Popach, but that has not been verified either.
