Fortnitemares 2025 has introduced quite a bit of spooky fun to ‘Fortnite‘ this year, but the biggest focus for many players has been the introduction of the Scooby-Doo gang. Each character has their own little mystery, and the one about Daphne has been the most talked about by many players.
Daphne has lost her luggage somewhere on the island, and the players’ goal is simple: they have to find it before time runs out. Here is where players can find Daphne and gather her missing belongings for some easy XP.
Locating Daphne In ‘Fortnite‘
Players can find Daphne at Viney Shafts, which is a transformed version of the old Shiny Shafts location on the west side of the island. After gliding in, look for her just above the “S” in “Shafts” on the map, talking to the poster board. She’s looking up clues and trying to figure things out. Talk to her and choose the dialogue option “Need help?” – and she will reveal her luggage was stolen and ask players to find it for her.

Just keep in mind, the quest is timed, and after accepting it, players will have around four minutes to complete it. It’s best to hurry after you finish talking to Daphne.
Looking For Daphne’s Lost Luggage
After accepting the quest, travel southwest from Viney Shafts. Players have to look for a very high cliff that overlooks the terrain, to the north of Outlaw Oasis. This is the final destination for Daphne’s missing luggage. The luggage is located on the very top of the cliff, along with a recreational vehicle and a small campsite. Approach the southern end of the bluff, where it is easier to climb up.
Once reaching the top, there is a pile of luggage next to Mothman, another character who was introduced during Fortnitemares, so all players need to do is trigger the interaction on the luggage to complete that portion of the quest, and then talk to Mothman to “interrogate”.
Complete The Mystery With Mothman
Speaking with Mothman demonstrates that he didn’t seek to be a bad guy – he simply wanted to solve a mystery for once, as opposed to being one. Once the dialogue with Mothman is complete, the quest concludes automatically, and players will receive 10,000 XP. Players don’t have to return to Daphne, she will get in contact with you over comms, excited that her stuff was found.

And that’s it – players have completed the luggage mystery of Daphne. This relatively short, yet enjoyable quest is a fun way to earn XP while exploring Scooby-Doo crossover content in ‘Fortnite.‘ Once players have completed this quest, feel free to explore the other Fortnitemares challenges, such as the Stalkbox search or trying to find Mother of Thorns.
