With ‘Fortnite‘s new Story Quests, the storyline of the island is reintroduced by reintroducing new characters related to The Seven and revealing more about how they affected the game. This week’s focus will also revolve around getting to know The Order as she reunites with The Visitor.
If you’re trying to stay up-to-date with the game’s lore and secure free XP as you complete the story quests for The Order, this guide outlines step-by-step instructions on completing her story quests in Fortnite! The total amount of XP earned from each stage will be 15,000; therefore, completing these story quests is going to be well worth all the time committed.
Listen to The Visitor’s Ship Log
The objective is to watch The Visitor’s Ship Log. This Objective will only have 1 stage and will be easy to complete.
Head directly south to Classified Canyon, and try to find a tall building near The Visitor Ship. You will find the Ship Log inside the building, which will show The Visitor’s reunion with The Order. Click on this object to start the audio from the Ship Log.
Once the Ship Log is finished, you will have completed the Objective and be awarded 15,000 XP. The only purpose of this step is to further the story, so make sure you take a few seconds to actually watch. This explains some important background about what is going on in the island and leads on to phase 2 of the going on’s.
You will be able to perform all of these Steps in a normal Battle Royale match. If you land early, you should be able to avoid any fights from other players at or around the building.
Complete The Interference Objectives in ‘Fortnite‘
After listening to the ship’s log, the next step is to continue through the Interference Quests, which focus on the investigation of Dark Voyager and what he has done. Each stage must be completed in order.
- Talk To The Visitor About Investigating Dark Voyager
The Visitor is an NPC who resides in the same building as the ship’s log south of Classified Canyon. Speak with him and choose the dialogue line regarding investigating Dark Voyager. This completes the step immediately.
- Travel 50 Meters While Under Stealth Splash Effect
You can either find Stealth Splash in chests or as floor loot, throw it down at your feet and run in any direction, and you will have traveled 50 meters without being seen to complete the quest.
- Eliminate 3 Opponents in Lethal Labs or Classified Canyon
Stay in Classified Canyon or rotate to Lethal Labs and kill 3 enemy players in either location to complete this objective. If you want to support other players, then playing in team mode will make this step easier.
- Touch a shard from a zeroed out point
The Zeroed-out point is located at Lethal Labs, right in the center of the map. You can’t build on top of it directly, so you will need to create a launch pad to glide to the shard. Once you touch it, you’ll be teleported to another location. Stage complete.
After you report back, you will have to wait for the next Order call, as the story continues next week.
