New Fortnite Leaks Reveal Upcoming Overwatch Collaboration Following Blizzard’s Historic Relaunch

One of the most ambitious crossovers may be happening in gaming, as there are leaks that suggest that ‘Overwatch’ heroes are coming to ‘Fortnite.’ Epic Games is known for bringing collabs to the game, and this time, it feels like the OG hero shooter is next.

This won’t be the first time that ‘Fortnite’ is collaborating with another video game. From ‘God of War’ to ‘Street Fighter,’ fans have witnessed their favourite game characters coming to the battle royale. It seems like ‘Fortnite‘s crossover roster is going to have another addition to it with a plethora of different Heroes available in ‘Overwatch.’

Famous ‘Fortnite‘ Dataminer and Leaker Blortzen, in an X post, has claimed that an ‘Overwatch X Fortnite‘ Crossover is happening, and two heroes from the famous Blizzard game are coming to ‘Fortnite‘. According to him, crossover can go live in ‘Fortnite‘ Chapter 7 Season 2, which is scheduled for 19th March 2026. 

Blortzen also claimed that one ‘Overwatch‘ hero will be part of the new season 2 battle pass. Moreover, there are going to be 2 heroes in total coming to ‘Fortnite‘: D.Va and Tracer.

Both these Heroes are the mascots of ‘Overwatch‘, so their appearance in a leaked crossover with ‘Fortnite‘ was to be expected. 

‘Overwatch’ Crushes Its Past Players Record Post Season 1 Debut

With Blizzard rebranding ‘Overwatch 2‘ back to ‘Overwatch‘ and launching their season 1, Reign Of Talon, all former players are swarming back to the game. This debut has made the game more loved by the community, with new content, game modes, and a story-driven narrative. 

Furthermore, to show this success, the Steam charts are all over the top, and ‘Overwatch‘ has crushed its past concurrent player record set in 2023. The game saw a peak of over 165,000 concurrent players, breaking its past record of 75,608 players.

This new season has proved to be a success for ‘Overwatch‘ as its player base is still sticking to the game, and the player record is experiencing a stable flow.
