‘Valorant”s power couple, TenZ andK Kyedae, has officially called it quits. After a six-year long relationship, and out of those, being engaged for almost 4 years, they ended their relationship.
For the past few weeks, there were rumours of the couple calling off their engagement, following the removal of their engagement posts. However, there was no solid proof about these rumours. Their announcement has broken heart of many fans who have witnessed their journey together.
TenZ And Kyedea Ended Their Beautiful Relationship
On February 7, 2026, basically the first day of Valentine’s week, Kyedea shared on X that she and TenZ are officially splitting up. She revealed that they have been split for quite some time. Kyedea reasoned that they ended their relationship after they realized they “stopped growing as individuals.” She cleared that there was no drama or wrongdoing.
She wrote, “We moved in together just weeks after meeting, and from ages 17 to 24, that was all we knew. Over time, it became clear that we needed space to grow into our own people separately. We know the internet often looks for “the tea,” but the truth is simple—we grew apart. There was no wrongdoing, no resentment, and no single event that caused this.“
In the end, they wished the best for others and asked fans to respect their privacy. People are disappointed about the news and shared their thoughts under the post. Some shared disbelief, while others wished them good wishes for their new journey.

TenZ’s former teammate and friend Hunter “SicK” Mims reacted to their breakup news and shared on X, “Kyedae and Tenz broke up?! Just put me back in jail already … better than seeing this tragic news. On a real note they are both great people so I am sure they will be alright. Just a sign of the times really.”
Both TenZ and Kyedae seem to enjoy their separate lives and were even joking under their engagement post, commenting, “Literally did not age well.”
A Look Back At TenZ and Kyedae’s Journey Together
TenZ and Kyedae started their relationship in high school when they were just 17. Over time, they both started their career in gaming. TenZ went pro and was part of Cloud9’s CS: GO’ roster. Later, he found success in ‘Valorant’s competitive scene with Sentinels. On the other side, Kyedae was focusing more on streaming and got signed with 100Thieves as a content creator.
On August 16, 2022, the couple announced their engagement with a beautiful picture, and the whole gaming community cheered for them. However, things were not always simple for them. In March 2023, Kyedae revealed she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. TenZ showered full support to her then fiancé and held her hand throughout the treatment journey.

Kyedae also supported TenZ when he and Sentinels had bad consecutive 2022 and 2023 seasons. They were the perfect and “it” couple for many of their fans, and their separation is very heartbreaking for the community.
