2-time Valorant Masters winners Sentinels and newly called-up ENVY have been officially eliminated from VCT Americas Kickoff 2026. Sentinels faced Leviatán, and ENVY locked horns with Evil Geniuses, who they had already defeated in their first round of upper bracket.
Week 4, day 1 showcased exciting matches with all 4 teams fighting hard to keep their hopes alive to qualify for Valorant Masters Santiago. However, both ENVY and Sentinels fell short were clean swept by their respective opponents will travel back home.
Demon1 Couldn’t Save ENVY From Elimination

In the first match day, fans saw a rematch between ENVY and EG. After already defeating EG earlier, ENVY came in strong to move forward in the bracket. After the whole roster drama with Inspire and signing Demon1, its was their first series.
Fans were excited to see Demon1 once again on the stage against his former team. Both teams showcased unique and gutsy play on the first map and didn’t back down a bit. It was fast-paced and a perfect nail-biter to start off the week. After a hard-hitting battle, Evil Geniuses got the upperhand and claimed the map 1 with a 14-16 score. Both Bao and dgzin kept their frag scoreboard running throughout the map and helped to contain pressure from Demon1, Eggster, and keznit.
Next map, Corrode, was a mere cake walk for Evil Geniuses. Dgzin and Supamen didn’t let ENVY settle the whole map and crumbled them. The whole ENVY crew felt clueless on their own map pick and failed to level the series.

ENVY had a rough week with falling out with Inspire and social media drama around this situation. The team also had very little time to practice with Demon1, which is why he might be in the controller role. Still, they performed subpar thanks to Eggster and Demon1. The MVP went to dgzin, who looked like an absolute monster the whole series, and got 58 frags with 315 ACS.
Sentinels Struggles Against Leviatán

In the subsequent series, Sentinels and Leviatán faced off to continue their lower bracket run. Sentinels changed a few things and put Reduxx on Waylay, after spamming her in ranked games for the whole week. N4rrate moved to more of a flex role and opened the series with Neon.
Sentinels struggled on their own map pick and had a very weak first half, even after winning four consecutive rounds. Leviatán, despite a slight hiccup in the start, got back on track and didn’t let Sentinels get any advantage and won their map with a 13-10 score. Both Sato and spikeziN had a great map and were shooting on point.
Next up was Leviatán’s pick, Bind. This time, Sentinels won the first pistol round; however, things were not going in their favor, and they ended the first half with a 4-8 score. It looked like it was a quick 2-0 for Leviatán, but Sentinels finally started shooting back. They won 8 consecutive rounds but choked at the match point, letting Leviatán push the game to overtime. It was a simple wrap-up for Leviatán, and they shattered Sentinel’s hope to qualify Masters Santiago.

After performing the whole event, Johnqt underperformed in this series. On the other hand, putting Reduxx on Waylay was a good change, but Sen didn’t get the value they hoped for. Missing the first internation event of the season will sting the org and fans can expect some changes in the roster before VCT Americas Stage 1 where they fight for their spot in 2nd Masters event of the season in London.
As for the Leviatán goes, they will face Cloud 9 to continue their run. Both team has seen glimmers of success and struggled subsequently. As the season progresses, the lower bracket is getting more and more competitive, and fans have to see which team will punch their ticket for the Masters Santiago.
