The release date of Chappell Roan in ‘Fortnite‘ is confirmed for February 5, 2026, as she is the headliner for ‘Fortnite‘ Festival Season 13 as a Festival Icon, according to Epic Games. The collaboration will fulfill a long-awaited moment for fans of Roan.
During a BBC Radio 1 interview last year, she publicly requested Epic Games develop a skin for her to use while playing Fortnite, and even indicated at that time that playing Fortnite would be an ideal way to end a night on the town, now her wish has come true as one of the largest festival collaborations this season.
Chappell Roan’s ‘Fortnite’ Release Date Revealed
Chappell Roan is set to go live inside Fortnite via the v39.40 update being rolled out worldwide on February 5th. This also coincides with the beginning of the ‘Fortnite‘ Festival Season 13 therefore users will be able to dive right into all new music content, new Cosmetics and an entire new Festival themed stage upon server restoration.
Chappell will join other music legends who are a part of ‘Fortnite,’ including previous festival headline acts such as Sabrina Carpenter and Gorillaz, and continues Epic Games’ attempts to merge live service gaming with moments from pop culture.
All Chappell Roan Skins and Cosmetics Coming to Fortnite
Players can earn a variety of Chappell Roan skins & cosmetics through in-game purchases via the Item Store as well as from participating in the Heartcore Music Pass.
The Heartcore Music Pass includes a slew of items, including Chappell’s Pink Pony Club Inspired Outfit, which has both a pink outfit & a tour-based outfit based on the style from her shows, as well as The Midwest Princess Keytar and Jam Tracks, which are made specifically for her.
The Item Store will also offer Chappell’s Roan of Arc Outfit to celebrate the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which will be outfitted with a medieval-style armor set reminiscent of the original armor used by Joan of Arc.
Additional cosmetics to be sold here include the Pink Pony Sidekick out-of-game skin, which will include a cowboy hat, the Femiminomenon emote for use when running, and a reactive back bling which will change in color depending on the music that is being played.
Fortnite Festival Season 13 Goes Full Pink Pony
Season 13 is going to introduce one of its festival stages, with an actual castle built in the style of Chappell Roan and his visual aesthetic, a new mix of pop glam and fantasy aesthetics. Along with the new Jam Track, some returning festival faves include ‘Good Luck, Babe!‘, ‘HOT TO GO!‘ and ‘The Giver‘ will also be part of this new festival rotation.
