On January 30, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) released another batch of unsealed Jeffrey Epstein documents. This included over 3 million pages of documents, 2000 videos, and almost 200,000 images, featuring many familiar names.
One of the most surprising names that surfaced in the documents was that of Rockstar Games president Sam Houser and former GTA lead Leslie Benzies. Both Houser and Leslie were referenced through the statement of a Epstien victim, Sarah Ransome.
Epstein Victim Accuses Ex-Rockstar North Executive Of Sexual Assault

On page 37 of the latest batch of Epstein files, Sarah Ransome shares a witness list that included Benzies and Houser. Allegedly, Leslie Benzies was in relatonship with Sarah Ransome in the early 2000s. Ransome also accused Benzies of sexually assaulting him during that time, remarking it was not surprising given Bezies is the “guy who helped invent GTA.”
Ransome also claimed that she met Sam Houser multiple times during her relationship. She said, “The time has come about what you and your Rockstar North boys really get up to behind the scenes.” However, Sam was not accused of any assault or abuse.

It is important to note that neither name had any link to Jeffrey Epstein or were involved in any illicit activity based on the current documents. In addition, the above allegations also didn’t resulted to any criminal charges, so the claims remain unproven. Fans must keep in mind that much of the information in the documents is unverified and third-party allegations.
Rockstar Games Continues Facing PR Hurdles Ahead Of ‘GTA 6’

Rockstar Games is supposedly in the final leg of developing the highly anticipated ‘GTA 6’ and is supposed to release it in November 2026. However, as they are nearing the launch, Rockstar keeps finding itself in controversy.
In late 2025, the Independent Workers’ Union of Great Britain accused the studio of union-busting after it fired almost 40 of its employees. Even though Rockstar claimed they were fired due to the policy violation and leaks, it led to strikes in Edinburgh and Take-Two’s London offices. And now, such a high level executives’ name coming up in controversial documents poses a tough challenge to the project.

Nonetheless, Rockstar will take the necessary steps to get them all ready for the launch of ‘GTA 6.’
