The High Keep main quest in ‘Hogwarts Legacy‘ can confuse players as they will have to climb the battlements. Though players may initially feel this is an uncomplicated goal, it requires the player to resolve a puzzle regarding spell timing, physics quirks, and an easy-to-overlook gate mechanism.
If you find yourself stuck at Falbarton Castle, staring at an unscalable wall, don’t worry; with an understanding of what the game wants you to do, you’ll find that climbing up is quite simple. Players can start this quest northeast of Hogsmeade while they search for proof against Harlow and Rookwood with Natsai Onai. The main gate to the castle is locked, so you will need to proceed up the battlements.
How To Climb The Battlements In The High Keep?

Once you have made it to Falbarton Castle, take the right side of the bridge and climb the wooden scaffold to get to the castle wall. On the ramparts, look left, and you will see a closed iron gate with a rotating object next to it. Use Depulso on the rotating mechanism to open the gate.
In the gated-off section will be a large crate. Use Accio on the crate to get the crate in front of the wall that you could not climb earlier, and then use Wingardium Leviosa to position the crate in place, and then use Levioso to keep the crate floating.

Once the crate is in place, you can jump onto the top of the crate to reach the ledge above. If your jump does not feel consistent, then make sure you are standing on the crate prior to using Levioso to lift both yourself and the crate.
Opening The Main Gate For Natty

Natty is now able to come inside the Castle. Go around the outside of the castle and destroy the wooden barricade that is blocking a crawl space to let Natty in. If there is a crate blocking the crawl space that leads to the castle gate, you can use Accio to pull the crate onto the windowsill and pull it off the crawl space, if needed.
After you go inside the castle gatehouse, you need to cast Depulso on the gate mechanism many times to raise the gate enough to quickly use Accio to hold the handle above the gate open.
Reaching The Roof And Finishing The Quest

After a short cut scene, continue up using additional crates and Levioso to cross going up broken stairs, but you should expect to run into poachers! You will have multiple ways to solve this through combat, as well as stealthy Disillusionment and Petrificus Totalus spells.

Once you reach the top, you will free the Hippogriff Highwing, and you will unlock Flying Mounts for all locations. The hardest thing in The High Keep is getting up the battlement. After getting through this part of the quest, the rest of the quest will be easy and one of the most memorable scenes in the game.
