In ‘Fortnite‘ Chapter 7 Season 1, everyone was shocked to see one of the most unique and strongest crossover Mythic weapons come into play – The Stick of Truth from South Park. While it serves as a nice nod to Fans of the Series, it is also a weapon that can turn the tide of any Battle Royale match within mere seconds, provided the player knows how to use it properly.
Due to the extreme rarity of this item and the vast impact it has on gameplay, many players may be confused about where the item is located and how it functions, as well as when to use it. So, here’s everything you need to know about the Stick of Truth so that you can take full advantage of this weapon when the time comes.
Where To Find The Stick Of Truth In ‘Fortnite’?

The Stick of Truth in ‘Fortnite‘ can only be acquired from a special event called “Rift Anomaly”. Unlike regular items, which can be found in chests, supply drops, and on the ground, you will not find this item anywhere except through an anomaly event.
An anomaly event does not have a designated storm phase, which can be used to predict when it will occur within a game. However, many players have reported that they see anomalies triggered after the third storm has closed.

Once the anomaly has activated, a notification will pop up in-game that will provide information about the location of your opportunities to collect this item. You should monitor the alert feed at the top right corner of the screen for updates on possible locations for this item.
Upon receiving the notification about the anomaly, players should immediately check their maps to find out where the Stick of Truth is spawning. There will be a small circle around the spawn point that has an icon of a stick inside it, and this is how you will be able to find out where the Stick of Truth is located.
This ‘Rift Anomaly’ will teleport players to Cartmanland, which has taken the place of Wonkeeland. Players should visit this area moving forward to locate the ‘Stick of Truth’ located behind the statue of Eric Cartman on a red pedestal. There is only one stick that can be found during any single match, and players should prepare for a fight as soon as the Rift Anomaly goes off.
Another important thing to note about the Stick of Truth is that it will not always be available. Players may have to wait until they find it again because some games will not have access to the Rift Anomaly.
How The Stick Of Truth Works In ‘Fortnite’?

The Stick of Truth is a Mythic item in ‘Fortnite’; it is not a weapon and does not respawn at the end of a match. When a player picks up the Stick of Truth, it will remain in their inventory until they activate it. Players can choose to activate it immediately or may wait until they feel that now is the best time to use this item.
Upon activation, the Stick of Truth closes the storm around the player who activated it. This effectively places the player who activated the Stick of Truth in a safe zone and causes the storm to quickly close in around them over the course of 3 to 4 minutes.
The Stick of Truth provides players with an incredibly powerful advantage by removing all chance from the last phase of a match. After the storm closes in on the player who activated the Stick of Truth, all remaining players must now make their way toward the stick’s user, regardless of their original position. If the user is in an elevated position with good cover or near points of natural convergence, they will have an extremely powerful advantage.

The Stick of Truth may only be activated once per player per match; once a player has activated a stick, the stick will immediately disappear from their inventory and cannot be activated again in that match. Timing and positioning are crucial when using this item because only one stick can be activated by each player in each match in ‘Fortnite.’
