In ‘Skate 4‘s seasonal challenges, players have encountered a number of amusing and occasionally difficult challenges, one of which has caused a little confusion is “Sequences with Grinds around the Block Party”. The difference with this challenge over others is that it’s not about executing a complicated trick sequence; it is all about figuring out where to go.
Many players get stuck in this challenge, not because the grind sequences are tricky, but because the Block Party is not marked as such on the map. In truth, the location is hidden in plain sight, and once players know where to look, they won’t have a problem completing the challenge.
Locate Block Party in ‘Skate 4’

The Block Party location is basically Rectory Park, a small but skateable spot located in Gullcrest Village. It is located toward the southern-middle part of the map. The park is small and filled with rails, ledges, and small ramps—it’s billed as the perfect place to link grinds.

This location’s blip is not named actually “Block Party.” The game instead lists the location as Rectory Park, so the only way to navigate there directly is to set your waypoint there.
Even if it appears some of the challenges appear to be locked or not clearly visible on the map, simply placing the board down in Rectory Park will count all the grinds toward the seasonal goal. Think of it like a hidden level in a classic skateboarding video game is right there but might take a bit of insider knowledge to figure out where it is.
Completing the Challenge

The Block Party challenge includes 50 grind sequences, which will reward the player with 415 Tix, the season currency used to unlock cosmetics and rewards in the Season Pass. A key bit of information is knowing what counts as a sequence.

Sequences begin the instant a player starts grinding and end once the player touches down successfully. Consequently, even if a player is able to link several grinds together, it will only be 1 sequence for the challenge. So, trying to do a ton of big combos doesn’t really help speed things up. Instead, just focus on doing short sequences and landing without issue—then do it again.
Some players find it helpful to ride around Rectory Park rails and ramps to organically grind several short lines together. Rectory Park is set up for easy lining of short sequences because the park has so many grindable surfaces that are close together. Eventually, players watch their tracker fill as they establish clean sequences, and although it may be confusing at first, the challenge turns simple.
