The Rocketeer is a high-end level ARC that features armor plating and devastating missile barrages. With missiles in the sky with an unlimited firing rate, Rocketeers command open areas and force Raiders to seek cover at all times.

The Rocketeer uses thruster technology to keep itself airborne, giving it a back-to-back weak spot, and these can only be destroyed with large amounts of firepower. The Rocketeer’s attack pattern uses yellow lasers that turn red right before they launch 1–4 missiles that can take out a raider in two hits.

Rocketeers are usually stationary and are either set up in specific locations or roam around, so it is essential to approach them with caution. A Rocketeer that is fired upon without cover can quickly end a raiding mission. There are two effective strategies for engaging a Rocketeer: target the thruster units or use high-penetration attacks against the weak points on the eyebrows.

Using Snap Blast and Showstopper grenades can allow you temporary control and give you the opportunity to damage or ride on top of a Rocketeer safely.

With basic gear, taking down Rocketeers requires a good deal of strategy and patience. You should use either a Ferro or an Anvil and bring a large quantity of Heavy Ammo. In addition, you should use Hornet Drivers and have plenty of items for healing, such as Shields and Bandages.

The first step is to expose one of the thrusters using a Hornet Driver to temporarily blind it. After the thruster has been exposed, you can destroy it with either a Ferro or Anvil. Continue to expose and destroy multiple thrusters in this manner. This technique offers a safer and more gradual approach to defeating the Rocketeer. It does not expose the player to instant death.
