Collecting mushrooms in ‘ARC Raiders‘ can be like trying to catch a ghost. You spot a couple of trees in one run, and then you run 5 more times and see none. They are one of the most frustrating upgrade materials Scrappy asks for.
Especially when you finally reach level 5 of upgrading, when it seems to want a dozen collected on your next visit. With that being said, once you know where some are located, the grind becomes much simpler.
Best Mushroom Spot In ‘ARC Raiders’: Hydroponic Dome Complex (Dam Battlegrounds)

Head straight to the Hydroponic Dome Complex on the Dam Battlegrounds map if you want to maximize the mushrooms you find. This is by far the most reliable farming location. Mushrooms will spawn inside the dome complex and around the nearby trees.
Walk around the edges of the muddy water pools, check within the planter, and look at the tree trunks for the layered white-brown mushrooms. The forested area south of the Dome Complex is also worth looping, as mushrooms love damp, shaded locations.

If the loop is worth your time, the mushrooms in this area will spawn among mixed loot types. Again, don’t rush. Walk slowly around the planters and the trees next to the river. A single loop could net you one or two mushrooms, and the extraction point is extremely close, which is a huge stress reliever.
More Mushroom Spots In Dam Battlegrounds

If the Dome Complex fails to yield any mushrooms, you can explore a couple of backup locations:
- Water Treatment Control: Check for mushrooms hanging from the giant pipes that run through the top floor. While chances are low, it is a quick check.
- Wreckage Area: Look around the broken robot near Testing Annex, as fallen logs sometimes hide a spawn.
- South Swamp Outpost / Old Battleground: On the west side of the area, though swampy, you can find trees and fallen logs that occasionally have mushrooms. Players report that they find at least one in these spots.
Spaceport Mushroom Locations

Mushrooms do spawn on the Spaceport map in ‘ARC Raiders,‘ though not as reliably as Dam Battlegrounds. The best place to check is the trees directly south of Little Hangar, toward the East Container Yard.
Technically, this area is not marked as a Nature area, but we find it still spawns mushrooms more than any other area. You could also stop at the Raiders’ Hideout in Blue Gate – the trees there sometimes have spawns too, so it is a good zone to add to the route.
How to Increase Your Mushroom Chances In ‘ARC Raiders’?

If you’re lucky enough to get a Lush Bloom event going on, jump in right away. These events increase Nature-type spawns, so now the mushrooms will spawn even more. Not to the point of raining from the sky, but definitely enough to make it easier to farm.

Mushrooms are so camouflaged in their surroundings, and as a note to remind you, most of their spawning locations are also dangerous territory. Slow down, scan the trees, and rerun a path a few times if need be. Most players end up getting one, maybe two, mushrooms from running the Dam Battlegrounds map a few times, which is more than enough to upgrade Scrappy without going insane.
